    this dish is created on a few favorite hawaiian flavors. Kalua pork, Lomilomi salmon to start. normally you'll find this items at a luau, but here you'll find it in a pasta.

    Ingredients

    • 3 pounds pork shoulder, whole
    • 1/2 cup liquid smoke
    • 2 ounces Hawaiian salt
    • 3 cups cold water
    • 2 pounds spinach pasta
    • 3 ounces salted salmon, diced
    • 5 ounces ripe tomatoes, diced
    • 2 ounces green onion chopped
    • 2 ounces onion, minced
    • 3 ounces secret sauce
    • 2 ounces unsalted butter
    • 1 ounce garlic, minced

    step 1

    1) place oven on at 350 degree, pre heat. 2) place pork shoulder in a roasting pan, sprinkle hawaiian salt on to pork, add in liquid smoke and water to pan, cover with tin foil. place in middle of oven. cook for three hours. check periodically. add water if needed. 3) add all vegetables into a large mixing bowl, fold til well incorporated, add in salted salmon. continue to fold gently. place in refrigerator until needed. 4) boil water, add oil. cook pasta al dente. drain in colander when done. 5) after the pork is done, using two steel tongs, shred pork til you've got a pulled pork consistency. 6) place butter and garlic into pan, saut for a minute 7) add in pork, saut for a minute. 8) add in drained spinach pasta, deglaze pan with white wine if needed 9) add in secret sauce. 10)gently add in pasta. gently toss until well incorporated . 11) gently place into a pasta dish, twirling pasta to form a mound. 12) lastly gently place Lomilomi salmon on top of pasta. sprinkle with green onions.
