Spahetti Sauce Mix

I wanted a homemade alternative to the spice packets in the grocery store that I had more control over the ingredients and had, in my opinion, a better flavor.

DrDann Spahetti Sauce Mix
  • 4 tablespoons dried onion, minced
  • 4 tablespoons dried parsley, flakes
  • 4 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon dried garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper

Step 1

Mix ingredients thoroughly and store in a tightly sealed jar

To make spaghetti sauce, per pound of pasta

Mix 1/3 cup seasoning mix with the following: 1 lb of meat (ground beef, italian sausage, ground turkey, etc) - browned 1 29 oz can tomato sauce 1 6 oz can tomato paste 1 1/2 cups water 1 small onion, diced ring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes
